BPG Sales Numbers: Q3 2011

This post is about the Quarter Three sales numbers for Bully Pulpit Games. This is something I’ve been meaning to pull together for some time, inspired by Fred Hicks and his ongoing efforts at transparency. As I’ve said elsewhere, I think sharing experience is what makes our indie/small publishing community great, so this is our effort to give back a little.

If you have questions or would like to know the details, feel free to drop me a line or leave a comment.

Can I ask you about PDF vs PRINT sale numbers? It’s really interesting topic.

Sure. In the columns above “PDF” is the stand-alone digital version of the game and accounts for 262 of the Fiasco sales. That’s roughly 42% of the total, and that’s consistent with the split for the Fiasco Companion as well.

Keep in mind that for most of our products, the PDF is also included in the print version, so that probably effects the numbers somewhat.

    Does that answer your question?

Unfortunately, IPR’s lousy customer service cost you at least two sales last week. I’m still trying, though…

Sorry to hear about that, Jason, but it’s good to have the feedback. We’re always happy to fulfill directly when we can. I’ll drop you a line and we can sort it out!

Funny, I’ve had excellent service with IPR, but this was all pre-crash as well. If I can’t buy direct, IPR is usually my first choice.
