Grats, Jason! This is another in a string of very positive reviews for your game. That's really exciting to hear.

As for the blank space, I can understand his objection. But like you said, that's a small thing. Who knows, if you ever revise the project, that blank space may fill up. :)

Peace

See, I really don't understand the aversion to white space in a book. I liked the marginalia (a lot), and when there was no marginalia, the white margins gave the text room to breathe.

This seems like a common complaint, which occasionally gets on my nerves. I mean, God forbid that a page be less than totally covered in ink....

(Sorry. Personal pet peeve.)

Yeah, I hear you. I don't think that would have worked for Grey Ranks, since we were going for the sequential art thing as well (which I am REALLY proud of), so there were weird parameters all around. Something had to give.

I feel like preventing those large expanses of (unwanted) white space is part of where the need for variably-sized illustrations in RPG texts came from. That's certainly what happened at SJG. We'd do a preliminary layout with a general art guideline (like, 1/4 page of art every 4 pages), see where the heading breaks gave up space, and fill in from there.

I'm glad you kept the margins.
