I think equally important was the use of bold and all caps every time the DROWNING AND FALLING ROLEPLAYING GAME was mentioned.

When I read the rules as just text, the idea never hit me: but, this could be cool to run.
The illustrations are what brings this one home. And the font choice. So uptown.
